CRUSTOPHEE HONEY is a premix for the preparation of honey cakes with unique taste of honey. It offers cake with good volume, moist texture and good mouthfeel.
Crustophee Honey 1000gm
Egg 500gm Water 200gm
Vegetable oil 150gm
Raisins 250gm
Nuts 150gm
Potassium sorbate2 3.1gm
1. Optional ingredients for better taste.
2. For extended shelf life upto 8 days.
1. Place water, egg and Crustophee Honey in a mixing bowl.
2. Mix with a whisk attachment on slow speed for 1minute
3. Scrape the sides and centre of the bowl to facilitate even mixing and mix on high speed for 3 minutes.
4. Add vegetable oil and mix on low speed for 1 minute/ until the oil folds well.
5. Add raisins and cashew nuts, mix on low speed for 1 minute or hand blend till the nuts/ raisins folded well.
6. Scale as required into greased pans.
7. Bake at 1700 C for 40 to 45minutes/ until baked well.
